You can adjust the arm of the microphone to achieve the perfect position, but a slightly longer arm would have been welcome. So I never use the wheel at all and just adjust volume on the DAQ. It appears the slider wheel on the headset gets stuck in the pushed down position when adjusting the volume, and holding that button is programmed to disconnect the headset. However, I have found a workaround which is to use the volume bar on the DAQ rather than the slider wheel on the headset itself. The only issue they do have is that the chronic problem of the headset disconnecting is present on these as well. They work great and the hot swappable batteries are amazing.
